Stephen N. Blackmon is a unique blend of art, business & highways-and-hedges ministry. He is a servant, an activator, an entrepreneur, bible scholar, a teacher, an artist, a filmmaker, and a devoted family man. A spiritual son of C.S. Lewis, Stephen loves crafting and enjoying stories that display God's hidden mysteries, heart and glorious plan.

As an activator he has been helping people launch their visions and walk further into their artistic and/or entrepreneurial purpose since the mid 90's. Stephen launched Consuming Fire Incorporated (CFI), a marketing, book publishing, and now production company in 2005. CFI’s marketing division handles everything from branding and print advertising to radio and television commercials. CFI has published over 50 books and offers numerous services for self-publishing authors to improve the quality, presentation and marketability of their work.
Stephen released his own first novel, The Price of Paradise in 2009 to rave reviews from respected spiritual leaders and secular professionals across the country. He also has a long history in writing, magazines and ghost writing. He is the former editor of a literary magazine, and writer for a commercial licensing magazine. He began shooting and directing short films and promotional videos in 2011.

In December of 2015 he took over leadership of the Atlanta Independent Filmmakers Meetup, a collective of filmmakers and actors. He rebranded it The Forkshop (The Filmmakers’ Workshop – www.theforkshop.com ), and has since grown its membership from 345 to over 3300. The Forkshop has now also launched locations in Nashville, TN and Charlotte, NC.

In 2017 Apostle Stephen wrote High Stakes Game, a two hour crime suspense drama that creatively brings new aspects of relationship with God and depictions of the power of God into mainstream media. The film also effectively sets up an upcoming television series. After an unsuccessful search for investment capital, Stephen and his wife Iko produced the film out of pocket using students and friends from the Forkshop as crew, and a casting call for local talent. The response has been phenomenal. The film is now available on Amazon Prime and other streaming services.

In 2021 Stephen continued displaying his blend of art, business and ministry by producing a reality show modeling competition called Platinum Models Atlanta. In it he highlighted two businesses in extraordinary fashion, setting an example of what he could do for companies. The show also gave he and Prophet Iko the opportunity to impact the lives of upcoming models, as well as the show's audience. Platinum Models Atlanta is now available on TUBI and Amazon Prime to over 100 million households.

In 2022, he and his wife Iko were installed as the pastors of Opportunity Hub Atlanta (OHA), under the covering of H2O Global Ministries and Apostle Dr. Arcenia M. Finley. OHA is a ministry that specializes in empowering and activating people in their chosen calling. He continues to create and to draw, empower and train other creators. His consistent goal has been to help people start living their dreams, and to produce extraordinary media that ignites the imagination and inspires true creativity & personal development. Stephen and Iko live in Greater Atlanta with their two daughters.
